確かに有名大学をでた人は努力家も多く「努力をすればなんでもかなう」という価値観の人が多い。それはそれでいいことだが、多くは経済的に恵まれていて家庭も安定していて五体満足で精神に疾患がない状態である人が多い。努力を許されない環境にある人たちがいることに対する想像力に乏しかったり。

自分も努力をすればなんでもかなう素直に信じているクチであるが、でもそういう人のはく言葉の天然さがそうでない人を傷つけたり怒りを招くことがあるということは十分認識したほうがいいかもしれない。

私がいいたいのは今努力できることは努力をできるだけの環境を誰かからいただいているということに想いを馳せることが大事で、何でも自分でやっているんだという自負は時にはその人をむしろつまらない人間にしてしまうということだ。

そもそも格差問題の出発点はそういう「努力」に対する認識の差があるような気がするよね。格差の批判される側の人は批判をする人を「君等は努力が足りない」という蔑視があり、また批判する側はその目に敏感だ。
